Responsibilities

As a Radiology Technician III, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic, CT scan, mammography, bone density, ultrasound, or special procedures according to department protocols. You will also function as the first line interface with customers, participating in PI/QC activities and assisting in maintaining performance improvement programs. Additionally, you will supervise radiology staff in the absence, maintain department supplies, and promote teamwork and good customer service.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:

- Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State
- Effective July 1, 2017 national certification in three modalities or if functioning in a leadership role, national certification in 2 modalities and leadership experience required
- Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations
- Current BCLS (AHA)
- One year of acute clinical radiography preferred
- Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT or ABHES
- Proficient computer skills

Shasta Regional Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status. The current compensation for this role is $51.82. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
