The Town of Leesburg, VA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Supervisor to oversee the safe and effective operation of buildings, facilities, and equipment in recreational facilities. This is a key role that involves indirect responsibility for the supervision of on-duty personnel, ensuring building, facility, and equipment safety, and performing record-keeping procedures and security checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of recreational facilities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
- Indirectly supervise on-duty personnel, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Perform regular safety inspections and ensure that all facilities and equipment are in good working order.
- Maintain accurate records of facility operations, including maintenance schedules and security checks.
- Develop and implement programs, activities, and special events to enhance the recreational experience for users.
- Enforce established policies and procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for users.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age with high school diploma or GED.
- Experience and knowledge of recreation facility building operations, procedures, and practices.
- Ability to obtain Standard First Aid and CPR within one month of employment.
