Job Summary:

The Route Specialist position at Wildman is a critical role that requires a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. As a Route Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with all Company and regulatory requirements (DOT).

Key Responsibilities:

• Run open routes as assigned by the Service Manager, ensuring continuity of service excellence and customer intimacy to our customers
• Successful certification of new ASR-T and Load Builders following the SMART Start training program
• Support various initiatives of the Branch operation, including Contract Renewal, Goodwill's, Perfect Install, and Profitable Growth Initiatives
• Role model and maintain a safe working environment
• Other duties as assigned by the Service Manager or Branch Manager

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Two years' experience running a route as an ASR at Wildman and a proven track record of performance as an ASR
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English as the primary language(s) used in the workplace
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• Good verbal & written communication skills; enjoys initiating and holding conversations
• Customer focused; shows ability to create and demonstrate value to customer
• Ability to adapt work style to a variety of situations
• Professional appearance
• Must be computer proficient
• Must obtain/maintain a For-Hire-Endorsement
• Must pass DOT physical requirements
• 21 years of age or 3 years of driving experience preferred
• Able to meet the physical requirements of the position (lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly and unassisted; be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, twist, lift, push and walk)
