Construction Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruiter in the construction field to join our team at Mortgage Contracting Services.
As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with hiring managers and project leads to understand staffing needs and ensure the timely placement of qualified candidates in construction-related roles.
Some of the roles you might be focusing on include residential maintenance, HVAC technicians, plumbers, clerical positions, and management, among others.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting Market Directors and other leaders in all aspects of the recruiting, interviewing and onboarding functions.
- Working closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, timelines, and required qualifications.
- Utilizing various recruitment tools, platforms, and strategies to reach passive and active candidates.
- Managing postings and applicant flow through the ADP applicant tracking system.
- Building and managing a bench of potential hires, ensuring a solid pipeline at all times.
- Building strong relationships with industry associations, trade schools, and apprenticeship programs.
- Ensuring compliance with local, state and federal employment laws.
- Ability to work in a flexible and production-orientated environment.
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, email, internet and customized database management.
- Ability to work well in a matrix management structure.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of demonstrated hands-on recruiting experience.
- Ability to utilize advanced sourcing techniques, including but not limited to: conducting web and social media searches.
- Experience recruiting for large-scale commercial, residential, or industrial construction projects.
- Familiarity with local and national construction talent markets.
- Working knowledge of ADP recruiting platform a plus.
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
