Job Summary

Baptist Health Paducah is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room Technologist to join our team. As a CVOR Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety during cardiovascular surgeries.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms for procedures, including setting up equipment and sterilizing instruments.
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and handling instruments as needed.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team.
  • Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care, including preparing patients for surgery and assisting with recovery.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process.
Requirements
  • BLS certification
  • NBSTSA certification
  • 2 years of experience in a CVOR setting
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Work Schedule

This is an every other weekend rotation position.
