Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's West Chester Primary Care office.

About the Role:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide routine nursing care to patients under the direction of a licensed professional nurse, nurse practitioner, and/or physician. The LPN will participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care in accordance with the scope of the LPN as defined by the State Board of Nursing and health system standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide and document direct nursing care of assigned patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
  • Assist other health care personnel in the delivery of patient care.
  • Participate in maintaining the environment of care, including equipment and other material resources.
  • Support clinical activities related to nursing and clinic flow and make recommendations to manager for improvement in quality and effectiveness of nursing care given.
Requirements:
  • At least two (2) years experience in the medical field.
  • Pediatric experience preferred.
  • Basic use of a computer, Microsoft Office, and patient-facing technology.
  • Ability to navigate and use clinical communication systems.
  • Information literacy and management skills.
