Position Overview

Incentives:

Up to $7500 sign-on/retention bonus available for eligible candidates. Dartmouth Health is seeking skilled CT Technologists to conduct advanced imaging examinations and manage complex requests from specialized departments.

Our technologists are responsible for a diverse range of procedures, including Cardiac CT and 3D Interventional Imaging. As the only Trauma One center in New Hampshire, we handle numerous high-acuity CT examinations.

Additionally, our dedicated Stroke team relies on our technologists to perform CT scans following stringent protocols.

We are equipped with a specialized 3D Lab and two CT Interventional Radiology Suites, allowing our CT staff to focus on subspecialty areas within the imaging department.

Our team is committed to delivering exceptional patient care while maximizing their professional capabilities.

Current Opportunities:
We are offering full-time positions with a 40-hour workweek, available in both day and evening shifts. The day shift operates from 8 am to 4:30 pm, while the evening shift consists of two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts across four days, with a 10% shift differential for evening hours.

Eligible candidates for full-time roles (30 hours or more) may receive a $7500 sign-on/retention bonus, applicable to external hires with certain conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct computerized axial tomography procedures.
- Review patient medical records for relevant history and information.
- Collaborate with physicians on requisitions.
- Prepare patients for scans by explaining procedures and positioning them according to established protocols.
- Administer contrast materials as per physician instructions, recognizing and responding to any adverse reactions.
- Select appropriate techniques and protocols to ensure optimal imaging results; perform scans and evaluate images for quality.
- Conduct multi-plane reconstructions and manage data archiving.
- Address any quality issues identified during studies and notify the Radiologist.
- Organize daily schedules and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Perform routine equipment checks, maintenance, and supply management.
- Provide training and instruction to medical staff and fellow technologists as required.
- Engage in ongoing education and training, particularly in IV procedures.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Graduate from an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program with a minimum of one year of experience.

Licensure/Certifications Required:

- Registered with the ARRT.
- Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support.
- Licensed by the New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
