Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, snacks, and beverages to residents in accordance with planned menus and special diet orders.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe environment in the kitchen, dining room, and surrounding areas, adhering to established food policies and procedures.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and readily available for use.
  • Resident Support: Provide assistance to residents with special dietary needs, such as preparing and serving substitute foods.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the dietary team to ensure seamless food service operations.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with residents, staff, and management.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail to ensure accurate food preparation and service.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to move intermittently throughout the workday, possess sight and hearing senses, and be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrate a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
