Theatre Costumer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Theatre Costumer to join our team at the School District of Beloit. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and managing costumes for our Fall Play and Spring Musical productions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and manage costumes for Fall Play and Spring Musical productions
  • Work with the production team to ensure costumes align with the show's theme and vision
  • Maintain a well-organized costume shop and storage facilities
  • Supervise and instruct volunteers and parents as needed
  • Coordinate fittings and rehearsals with students and production team
Requirements:
  • Professional leadership skills and experience in theatre costuming
  • Knowledge of costume design and production processes
  • Ability to work cooperatively with administrators, parents, and the community
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
