About the Opportunity
ESS is seeking a qualified Substitute Teacher to assist with classroom instruction in the absence of a regular teacher. As an ESS substitute teacher, you will follow and teach lesson plans, aid students in understanding subject matter, and ensure that regular classroom routines are followed.
Responsibilities
- Provide instructional support to students in assigned classrooms while the regular teacher is absent
- Review and implement the regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives
- Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
- Report any student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration
- Perform other duties as directed by school administration
Qualifications
- Certified - Valid SC Teacher Certification
- Non-Certified - High School diploma
- Background Check
- Negative tuberculosis test
