About the Role

The estimated salary for this position is around $40,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience.

In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their paint needs. This includes determining the right products and services, presenting current promotions, and ensuring accurate sales transactions.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone with paint-related inquiries.
  • Serve contractors and retail customers by providing expert knowledge of paint products.
  • Ensure accurate sales transactions, maintain work order files, and tint/mix products to customer specifications.
  • Stock shelves, set up displays, and clean store equipment as needed.
  • Support the paint sales efforts by highlighting current promotions and sales items.
Requirements

To succeed as a Paint Specialist, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Knowledge of paint products and related products.
  • Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably with selling, mixing, matching, and identifying paint products.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to consistently provide superior customer service.
