Key Responsibilities:
  • Frontend Engineering:
    • Design and sustain responsive, user-centric interfaces utilizing NextJS on Vercel.
    • Customize Bootstrap CSS to ensure a cohesive and intuitive user experience.
    • Implement secure user authentication and authorization through Auth0.
    • Employ Posthog for user behavior tracking and analytics.
  • Backend Engineering:
    • Create and manage server-side logic and APIs using Express.

  • AI Integration:
    • Collaborate on expanding our AI functionalities for user scope creation, bid leveling, and vendor selection.
    • Utilize Vercel's AI SDK to implement and enhance AI models within the application.
    • Continuously optimize AI models for improved performance and accuracy.
  • Collaboration and Strategy:
    • Work closely with stakeholders to define and prioritize technical requirements and deliverables.
    • Contribute to the formulation of our technology strategy and architecture.
    • Engage in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience as a full stack engineer with a robust portfolio of web applications and projects.
  • Proficiency in frontend technologies including NextJS, Bootstrap CSS, Auth0, and Posthog.
  • Experience with backend technologies including Express, TypeScript, tRPC, Prisma ORM, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS (S3, RedShift, Lambda), Stripe, and DocuSign.
  • Expertise in expanding and optimizing PostgreSQL data warehouses and developing data-driven algorithms.
  • Familiarity with Vercel's AI SDK and serverless environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong grasp of software engineering principles and best practices.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members. Proficiency in English is required.
  • Experience in a startup setting is a plus.
