Our mission is to provide innovative and expansive services that promote independence, inclusivity, and quality of life.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our Adult Residential Services team. As a DSP, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in our residential settings, helping them to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities

  1. Complete required trainings and certifications, including SCIP-R and First Aid/CPR, to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  2. Develop and implement individualized plans to promote social connections, community integration, and daily living skills.
  3. Advocate for the rights and interests of individuals we serve, promoting their autonomy and dignity.
  4. Assist with daily living tasks, including ADLs, cooking, house cleaning, laundry, and healthy lifestyle habits.
  5. Document individual progress, including goals, protocols, outings, and recreational activities.
  6. Administer medications under the supervision of assigned nursing staff (AMAP), if applicable.
  7. Participate in regular meetings and training sessions to ensure high-quality care and support.

Requirements

  • Valid NYS Driver's license and ability to obtain DDI-approved driver status
