Job Overview:
As a Homeless Services Specialist at Master St Vincent de Paul of Baltimore, you will play a crucial role in engaging with Veteran clients seeking assistance with housing and services. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to relate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage clients to understand services provided by the SSVP program
- Screen and triage individuals to determine eligibility for Rapid Resolution Program and SSVF
- Provide rapid resolution, diversion, and exit strategy to Veterans
- Complete initial client intake and assessment using HMIS 'Client Track'
- Develop individualized housing and service plans with a goal of obtaining permanent housing
- Assist clients with mainstream benefits and legal documents
- Work closely with the Program Director to assign clients to Case Managers

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
- 2-3 years' experience working directly with persons who are materially poor and/or homeless
- Strong computer skills and organizational abilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

Salary Range:$19.71 - $21.44 Hourly
