About the Role

Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a key member of our pediatric dentistry team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional oral health care to our young patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform standard dental hygiene treatments, including oral evaluations, preventive dental health education, and mouth care.
  • Ensure that each patient is briefly examined by a licensed dentist at each visit.
  • Consult with a licensed dentist when referral for additional services is necessary.
  • Review patient dental care history prior to patient appointment.
  • Follow all patient care standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Chart teeth and conditions in patient's electronic dental record as directed by the licensed provider.
  • Educate patients/parents/caregivers about procedures, post-care treatment, and long-term oral care.
Requirements
  • Dental Hygienist license (RDH)
  • Associates degree; Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
  • 1 year of full-time experience in pediatric dentistry
