Dockhand - Duluth

Your Boat Club LLC is seeking a part-time Dockhand to join our team at our location on Lake Superior in Duluth, MN.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused individual to assist with dock operations, including cleaning, maintaining, and preparing boats for customer use. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain boats, including washing, waxing, and covering/uncovering vessels.
• Assist customers with gear and provide exceptional service.
• Operate gas pumps and perform other duties as assigned.
• Participate in end-of-season tasks, such as power washing and equipment maintenance.

Requirements:

• Ability to provide high-quality customer service and interact with members, renters, and guests in a professional manner.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of boating and fueling procedures is a plus, but on-the-job training is provided.

Working Conditions:

The Dockhand will work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment with varying weather conditions. The ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing circumstances is essential.

Compensation:

This is a part-time position with a starting hourly rate of $14.00. Compensation may vary based on experience.
