Key Responsibilities- Conduct Radiographic Procedures: Determine the most effective radiographic technique and position patients using immobilization and support devices to ensure optimal film quality.
- Operate Imaging Equipment: Safely and effectively operate radiographic, fluoroscopic, portable, computed radiography, and PACS equipment to ensure quality examinations.
- Deliver Patient Care: Provide exceptional patient care and adhere to department standards of continued quality improvement.
- Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure a secure and safe patient and work environment by maintaining continued awareness of safety hazards.
- Develop Leadership Skills: Develop leadership skills and professionalism through participation in department and/or hospital-based committees and continuing education programs.
- Exposure to Radiation: Work in an environment where exposure to radiation is a possibility.
- Proficiency in Operating Portable Equipment: Possess the ability to operate portable equipment safely and effectively.
