Job Description

As a diesel technician at Ryder, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of trucks and trailers. This includes performing oil changes, brake work, and tire rotations, as well as diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electronic problems. You will also be responsible for interacting with customers and drivers to determine the nature of their complaints and providing solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a skilled diesel mechanic with a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience in the field. You should have a strong understanding of diesel engines and be able to diagnose and repair complex problems. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to communicate effectively with customers and other team members.
