Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Ochsner Health System. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our occupational therapy program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to address patients' occupational therapy needs.
  • Implement and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Louisiana or eligibility for licensure by examination or reciprocity.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
