Job Summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a skilled NICU Respiratory Therapist to join our team through First Call Staffing Solutions, a unique travel agency that supports our state-wide integrated care delivery system. Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments, general and critical care respiratory care procedures, and respiratory care for newborns in Labor and Delivery
  • Conduct blood gas analysis and interpretation, and maintain and manage equipment
  • Provide patient and family education in both adult and neonatal areas
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
  • Previous working experience in Neonatal Respiratory care, or successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level
  • Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and licensed by the State Board of Medical Examiners
  • Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and NRP
Preferred Qualifications
  • Neonatal Pediatric Specialist credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care
