About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Expert to join our Structured Finance team at Aypa Power. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing analytical and transaction support, contributing to the financial success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and review financial models, including sensitivity analyses and reporting their impact on business models and assumptions;
  • Build and analyze detailed project, portfolio, and corporate level financial models;
  • Participate in originating and marketing high-profile financing transactions over $250 million, including preparing bid materials, evaluating financial partner proposals, and recommending course of action;
  • Support financial due diligence and analysis for existing and future energy storage and generation assets, including tasks related to project financing;
  • Evaluate strategic financial decisions and offer input and suggestions under the guidance of senior team members;
  • Collaborate with M&A teams to underwrite and evaluate investment opportunities;
  • Work closely with commercial and engineer teams to build financial models supporting early to mid-stage project valuations and marketing efforts;
  • Support Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements during the project financing life cycle;
  • Gather inputs needed to accurately model projects from internal subject matter experts and third-party consultants;
  • Assist in updating crucial corporate valuation metrics and engage in fundamental financial performance analysis with senior team members' guidance;
  • Rapidly learn and obtain in-depth knowledge of renewable energy technology;
  • Other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in finance or related fields;
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or accounting;
  • Familiarity with financial research, modeling, due diligence, credit agreements, and transaction documents;
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Positive attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Enthusiastic team player capable of contributing to a collaborative work environment.
