About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Minit Mart. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing store appearance and stock, and handling cash transactions with efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide top-notch service to customers during peak hours, ensuring every customer leaves satisfied.
  • Store Appearance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including regular upkeep of the coffee station, restrooms, and outdoor areas.
  • Cash Handling: Handle a high volume of transactions with accuracy and a friendly attitude.
  • Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with colleagues to handle the unique pace and challenges of the afternoon and early evening.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in inventory processes and manage stock levels to ensure the store is well-equipped for customer needs.
Requirements
  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older (21 in certain states).
  • Availability: Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
  • Math Proficiency: Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
  • Physical Ability: Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Pre-Employment Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and be subject to a criminal history background check.
