Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including forklifts, container stackers, and personnel lifts.
- Work with production machines and factory equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Coordinate work orders and workflow optimization to ensure timely execution.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance techniques to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Inspect and test equipment to ensure conformance to quality control standards.
- Track process indicators and spare parts/labor consumption to optimize equipment performance.
- Communicate effectively with equipment suppliers and vendors to resolve issues and obtain support.
- Provide regular equipment status reports to management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills for heavy equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other software programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing plant maintenance and repair procedures preferred.
