As part of the Martin Luther Campus, which offers senior living services, Meadow Woods Assisted Living is nestled among beautiful woodlands and wetlands. Our team actively promotes engagement in a variety of scheduled activities and lifelong learning opportunities, embodying Ebenezer's mission to promote healing, discovery, and education for healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing meal service in the dining area and for tray line delivery to residents.
  • Ensuring that meals are prepared and presented in line with relevant regulations and resident preferences.

This Culinary Specialist role includes:

  • Working 48 hours over a two-week period.
  • Evening shifts.
  • Rotating weekends.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including paid personal time, medical and dental coverage, educational funds, wellness initiatives, and retirement matching contributions.

Primary Duties:

  • Guaranteeing that meals are served and displayed according to applicable standards and resident expectations.
  • Meal preparation, service, and post-service clean-up.
  • Supporting the Culinary Director in overseeing and training kitchen staff.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in high-volume cooking within a similar setting is essential.
  • Preferred experience in scratch cooking.
  • One to three years of relevant experience.
  • ServSafe certification is preferred, with assistance available for obtaining it.
