Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical surgical environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient outcomes, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide wound care as needed
  • Monitor patient vital signs, identify changes in condition, and report to physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Texas State RN License
  • CPR (American Heart Association) certification
  • ACLS (American Heart Association) certification within 6 months of hire/transfer date
  • PALS (American Heart Association) certification within 18 months of hire/transfer date
  • NIHSS required within 90 days of hire/transfer date
