Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide wound care as needed
- Monitor patient vital signs, identify changes in condition, and report to physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Texas State RN License
- CPR (American Heart Association) certification
- ACLS (American Heart Association) certification within 6 months of hire/transfer date
- PALS (American Heart Association) certification within 18 months of hire/transfer date
- NIHSS required within 90 days of hire/transfer date
