Job Description:Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to support students' mental health, emotional well-being, and academic success in the Walden, TN area. This full-time, on-site position involves working with students across all grade levels, from kindergarten through 12th grade.
As a School Psychologist, you will be integral in conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs. You will provide individual and group counseling to support students' emotional and psychological well-being, develop and implement intervention strategies and support plans in collaboration with educators and parents, and assist in the development and review of individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students' emotional and psychological well-being.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies and support plans in collaboration with educators and parents.
- Assist in the development and review of individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as necessary.
- Promote mental health awareness and provide training for school staff.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress.
Qualifications:
- Valid school psychology license for the state of Tennessee.
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong assessment, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
- Commitment to enhancing students' educational and emotional outcomes.
