Job Summary

Under the direction of the Medical and Radiology Director, we are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform a variety of radiographic procedures at a technical level requiring the ability to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnosis.

Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnosis
  • Apply prescribed radiation protocols to ensure accurate and safe imaging
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure patient comfort and safety
  • Operate radiographic equipment, including X-ray machines and fluoroscopy units
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiographic procedures and protocols
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • Current CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of hospital experience
  • CT Scan experience
  • Fluoro certification
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to walk and push equipment up to 400 pounds frequently. The successful candidate must have dexterity, coordination, visual/auditory acuity to perform duties, and be able to reach, stretch, and assist patients routinely.
