  • Prepare radioactive materials for diagnostic evaluations
  • Operate and calibrate radioisotope machinery
  • Evaluate the quality of procured isotopes
  • Maintain operational equipment and accurate records
  • Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
  • Uphold patient confidentiality standards
  • Ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications:

  • Education: Successful completion of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program
  • Experience: No prior experience necessary
  • Licensure/Certification: Valid State of Texas license and ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine
  • Basic Life Support certification is mandatory

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Medium physical strength is necessary for patient positioning.

Frequent activities include lifting, carrying, standing, and walking.
