NY CREATES is seeking a highly skilled WETS Manufacturing Engineer/Tool Owner to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for equipment installation and qualification, advanced process development, evaluation, and characterization targeting advanced semiconductor applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and qualify equipment for the WETS sector in the 300mm fab facility.
  • Develop and implement advanced process development, evaluation, and characterization techniques for WETS applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of WETS processes and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain process specifications and control charts for tool monitoring.
  • Work closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of equipment and tools.
  • Manage technicians to support the fab for 24/7 coverage.
  • Develop and implement training programs for operators to ensure safe and efficient operation of tools.
Requirements:
  • A.S. degree in Materials Science, Physics, or equivalent Engineering and/or Science discipline AND 5+ years of experience working in the semiconductor industry as a Process Development Engineer in one or more areas of WETS applications.
  • OR B.S./M.S. degree in Materials Science, Physics, or equivalent Engineering and/or Science discipline AND 2+ years of experience working in the semiconductor industry as a Process Development Engineer in one or more areas of WETS applications.
  • Strong understanding of FEOL and BEOL semiconductor integration schemes.
  • Knowledge and experience in logic and memory device fabrication.
  • Leadership ability and experience with SPC/DOE methodologies.
  • Ability to execute a variety of tasks on short notice.
Preferred Requirements:
  • 2+ Years WETS Engineering Experience.
  • Working knowledge of SiView (MM and SM).
  • Familiarity and experience with FEOL, MOL, and BEOL applications.
  • Applications related to CMOS and memory (RRAM & MRAM) applications.
