Medicine for Business and Industry (MBI) is a leading provider of occupational medicine services, operating 31 clinics across Arizona, Colorado, California, and Nevada. We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting.
Job Summary:As a Physician Assistant in our Occupational Medicine department, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physician to provide healthcare services to patients with work-related injuries. Your primary responsibilities will include evaluating and managing common occupational musculoskeletal injuries, work-related injuries to the head, chest, and abdomen, and other conditions related to the workplace.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough physical examinations and review medical histories to determine the presence of work-related injuries
- Evaluate and manage common occupational musculoskeletal injuries, including neck, back, and upper and lower extremities
- Order and interpret radiographs as necessary to determine the presence of pre-existing conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescription of medications and therapy, and referral for specialized testing and care
- Communicate effectively with patients, clients, and staff to ensure seamless care and coordination
- Master's degree and valid, unrestricted state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- FMCSA certification for DOT exams, or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
- Current CPR certification and NRCME certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with clear and effective verbal and written communication
- Proficient computer skills and strong organizational skills
- Competitive hourly rates ranging from $69.86 to $102.78, depending on licensure and experience
- Full-time, 4-5 shifts weekly
