We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Carlsbad Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Administer medications and perform various patient tests within the scope of practice for a registered nurse.
  • Promote patient independence by teaching patients and families about self-care skills, medications, and condition management.
  • Utilize experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Requirements:

  • New Mexico RN license
  • Associates Degree in Nursing
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
