Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at the Department of Mental Health in Spartanburg, South Carolina. As a key member of our medical services team, you will provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment to patients, including adults, children, and adolescents. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients
  • Prescribe medications and provide ongoing monitoring and adjustment of treatment as needed
  • Participate in the Center's Doctors On-call and evaluate patients for intake
  • Provide consultation for clinical staff and contribute to the development of treatment plans
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a strong background in psychiatry, including a medical degree and completion of a three-year residency program in psychiatry. At least two years of experience in a psychiatric program is also required. Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are a plus.
