Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Sales Leader to join our team at Express, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth, leading high-performing teams, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and motivate sales teams to maximize sales potential
  • Provide coaching and training to ensure efficient and effective floor operations, customer service, and stockroom management
  • Partner with store management to provide feedback on associate performance and implement action plans to optimize results
  • Assist in training associates on store operations, product, policy, and procedures
  • Execute daily store operations, including merchandise flow, shipment, replenishment, and omni-channel operations
  • Monitor and analyze customer service provided by team members and implement improvements as needed
  • Build effective schedules with the right associates in the right place at the right time
  • Promote and support an environment focused on delivering great in-store customer experiences
  • Effectively resolve customer service issues to a positive outcome
  • Lead and model our customer experience model
  • Display expert knowledge of product, company policies, promotions, and loyalty programs
  • Provide leadership and assistance with product launches, window changes, visual presentation standards, and signage placement
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of retail experience preferred
  • Proficient in use of technology (iPad, registers)
  • Meets defined availability criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours
  • Meets physical requirements
  • Critical skills and attributes include:
    • Previous retail experience
    • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and supervisors
    • Demonstrated sales accountability
    • Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well with a team
    • Ability to multitask and handle multiple customers and/or processes at once
