Job Summary:

The Project Engineer assists the company in meeting its objectives and goals by supporting the Project Manager and project team. The Project Engineer will ensure a safe working environment for all employees and assist with the execution and management of project contracts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the execution and management of project contracts.
  • Prepare and present computer-generated spreadsheets and reports.
  • Perform QA/QC for project equipment and materials.
  • Maintain regular communication and collaboration with project superintendents.
  • Generate, maintain, and facilitate project documentation.
Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, the individual must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, construction management, business administration, or a related field. Prior internship experience in a related field and/or one to three years of mechanical, plumbing, and/or industrial HVAC field experience is preferred.

Computer Skills:

Direct experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel applications is required. Familiarity with industry-specific software such as Constructware, Prolog, and Helix is also required.

Language Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. The ability to effectively communicate with multiple levels of employees, government agencies, general and subcontractors, and suppliers is essential.
