Position Overview:

This role at Airbus U.S. Space & Defense, Inc. focuses on the assessment, testing, and repair of electrical and electronic systems and components to guarantee adherence to aviation standards and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute maintenance tasks in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications
  • Carry out regular inspections to avert system malfunctions
  • Construct wiring harnesses and install avionics systems
  • Identify repair needs and parts requirements
  • Analyze wiring diagrams and conduct system evaluations
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance teams and provide training
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment
  • Adhere to safety regulations and OSHA standards

Requirements:

  • Preferred certification with an Airframe and Power Plant license
  • 3-5 years of experience in electrical and electronics
  • Expertise in interpreting wiring diagrams and avionics equipment
  • Capacity to work effectively while prioritizing safety
  • Physical capability to perform tasks in confined spaces

Travel:

  • Domestic and International travel may be necessary
