Early Intervention Occupational Therapist Opportunity

Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. As a key member of our interdisciplinary clinic, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, individualized care to young children with autism and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement naturalistic occupational therapy programs for children aged 2-6 years in a center-based environment.
  • Develop targeted interventions to enhance clients' gross motor, fine motor skills, feeding abilities, and performance in daily activities.
  • Conduct comprehensive multidisciplinary assessments and formulate treatment plans in collaboration with other clinical domains, including co-treatments with the speech therapy team.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to a team of Registered Behavior Technicians, guiding them in integrating OT goals into their therapy sessions and supporting their professional development.
  • Regularly monitor client progress, revising treatment plans and objectives as needed, and ensuring effective communication with team members and families.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Occupational Therapy with a focus on pediatrics or a similar field.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience in working with children with autism or related developmental disorders.
  • Strong understanding of and commitment to early intervention and integrated care approaches.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a passion for supporting the growth and development of children with autism.
