Best Line Equipment is seeking a reliable and skilled CDL-B Driver to join our team at the Shippensburg, PA facility. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting equipment to customers and company locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Load and unload equipment from vehicles, which may involve climbing ladders and walking on top of the vehicle.
- Reconcile truck shipping and loading documents, including DOT documents such as logbooks and pre-trip inspection sheets.
- Perform other duties assigned by management, including working with customers to resolve equipment needs.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A clean, valid CDL-B driver's license.
- The ability to pass a DOT physical exam.
- Knowledge of equipment weights and dimensions, as well as the capabilities of our vehicles and equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to sit for 30 minutes to 2 hours while driving, stand for 30 minutes to 1 hour while loading/unloading, and walk to and from the vehicle (50-300 feet at one time).
This is a full-time position, 40-hour week, including some Saturdays and overtime, with a complete benefits package. Best Line promotes a safe work environment and has a mandatory drug and alcohol testing program for the protection of its employees and customers.
