Job Title: Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at The Mice Groups, Inc. in San Diego, CA.

This is a direct hire opportunity with a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $120,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software and firmware for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain software and firmware for embedded systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Design and implement software solutions using C/C++, Python, Assembly, and LabVIEW
  • Test and debug software and firmware to ensure quality and reliability
  • Work with version control systems such as GIT to manage code revisions and collaborate with team members
  • Develop and maintain documentation for software and firmware
Requirements:
  • 5-15+ years of experience in software development with a BSCS degree
  • Strong understanding of design constraints and software development life cycle
  • Experience with digital communication protocols and relational database interactions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with DevOps and GitLab
  • Knowledge of analog and digital circuit design and signals theory
  • Understanding of foundational mathematical concepts
  • Ability to use basic hardware and laboratory equipment
