Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Operations:
    • Oversee the daily activities of the warehouse, including material handling, inventory control, and shipping/receiving processes.
    • Ensure that all warehouse operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
    • Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Inventory Control:
    • Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and shipping inventory.
    • Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
    • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and discrepancies.
  • Shipping/Receiving:
    • Oversee the shipping and receiving process, including processing shipments, verifying inventory, and resolving any issues that may arise.
    • Ensure that all shipments are accurately labeled and delivered to the correct location.
  • Leadership:
    • Supervise and train warehouse staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve warehouse operations and inventory control.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to warehouse staff to improve performance and address any issues that may arise.
  • Communication:
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including production, purchasing, and logistics teams.
    • Provide regular updates on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and shipping/receiving activities.
Requirements
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or supply chain management.
    • Proven track record of improving warehouse operations and inventory control processes.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
    • Experience with inventory management software and systems.
    • Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
