Anesthesiology Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiology Specialist to join our team at Prisma Health. As an Anesthesiology Specialist, you will be responsible for responding to the anesthetic needs of patients and coordinating their care with other perioperative personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate anesthetic plans with anesthesiologists and discuss them with patients, explaining risks, benefits, and options.
• Perform special line placement procedures, including intravenous and arterial line insertion, within established guidelines.
• Document patient data, anesthesia care, and vital signs on intra-op records and charting.
• Maintain age-specific competence in anesthesia technical skills, including airway management, induction, blocks, and general anesthesia.
• Stay up-to-date with new knowledge of anesthesia pharmacology, modalities, techniques, and technology.

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Nurse Anesthesia or CRNA from an accredited program.
• SC RN- Advanced Practice and CRNA certifications.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
