Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Emergency Center, utilizing the nursing process and patient-centered care principles.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized patient plans, incorporating patient and family input and goals.
- Document patient education and learning in the health record, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Associate's or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's in Nursing required within 5 years for new graduates or nurses with less than one year of experience.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire/transfer.
- ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications required within specified timeframes.
- Specialty certification highly recommended within 2 years.
