Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Johns Hopkins HealthCare. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Operating Room.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the surgical team in preparing patients for procedures, including scrubbing in and maintaining aseptic technique.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and instrumentation for procedures.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective care.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • BLS CPR certification required.
  • Completion of a Surgical Technologist training program including clinical experience required.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a Surgical Technician in a Labor and Delivery department required.
  • Certified by The Association of Surgical Technologists, The National Board of Surgical Technology, or The Surgical Assisting Liaison Council Certificate of Surgical Technology highly preferred.
