Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Dometic Group.
About the Role:
The Senior Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for implementing and maintaining plant quality systems, including ISO 9001:2008 procedures, APQP activities, lean manufacturing activities, supplier quality development, and continuous improvement activities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Adequacy Reviews: Perform adequacy reviews for flow down of QA requirements affecting processes.
- Quality Program Development: Assist in defining/developing Quality Program, performance measurements, and reporting requirements.
- Quality System Processes: Assist in development of quality system processes, i.e., records management and document control, control of electronic data, etc.
- Quality System Management Review: Assist in Quality System Management Review.
- New/Update Quality Plans: Participate in new/update existing Quality Plans.
- Design-for-Quality Issues: Provide input for design-for-quality issues.
- Internal Audits: Perform internal audits to assess compliance to ISO Standards and internal Quality System, including investigation, identifying observations and findings, and reporting.
- First Article Inspection: Monitor and/or perform quality activities to support First Article Inspection.
- Work Instructions: Review and approve work instructions, inspection documents.
- Procurement Documents: Review procurements documents for flow down and inclusion of quality requirements.
- Supplier Deviation Request Process: Coordinate supplier deviation request process.
- Vendor Audits and Qualifications: Perform vendor audits and qualifications.
- Inspection Plans: Provide direction in implementing Inspection plans, Receipt Inspection, Witness/Hold Points, In-Process and Final Product Inspection, Sampling Plans, inspection and acceptance criteria.
- Customer Service: Support Customer Service to ensure fulfillment of customer requirements.
- Customer Complaints: Coordinate and participate in investigations regarding customer complaints.
- Production and Quality System Deficiencies: Work closely with Manufacturing Operations to Identify and resolve production and quality system deficiencies.
- Product Quality Problems: Investigate product quality problems, determine root cause, gather and analyze data, and implement corrective action to reduce or eliminate cause.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience:- ASQ Certification.
- Five (5) or more years' experience as Quality Engineer.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work professionally and diplomatically with a variety of internal and external customers.
- Highly motivated and able to build close relationships with customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to take a systematic approach to daily operations.
- Experience working with ISO quality standards.
Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
