University Hospitals is seeking a skilled Part-time LPN Ambulatory to provide safe and efficient age-specific nursing care to patients and families in our ambulatory setting.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality nursing care using the nursing process to assist patients in achieving optimal health status.
- Function in accordance with the professional standards of the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Complete and submit required documentation in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and technologies to provide exceptional patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited practical nurse program or currently enrolled in a nursing program.
- 2+ years of nursing experience (Level II only).
- Knowledge of LPN scope of practice according to the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- IV certification (unit-dependent).
This role requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively is essential.
