Role Summary:
This position involves delivering direct clinical care to patients in the ICU. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing patient care on a shift basis, as well as overseeing the staff to whom care is delegated. The RN will work closely with the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure that high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is provided, while also managing clinical staff competency and resource allocation related to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and support to critically ill patients.
- Assess and plan patient care strategies.
- Supervise nursing staff and delegate tasks appropriately.
- Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications:
- Required: Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing.
Certifications:
- Required: Current nursing license and CPR certification as mandated by state regulations.
