Full-Time NIGHTS

As a Registered Nurse in the Medical / Surgical Unit, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Providing patient care under general supervision, utilizing the nursing process which encompasses assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation, in alignment with established healthcare philosophies.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective delivery of patient care and to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Engaging effectively with patients, their families, and significant others while upholding the standards of professional nursing practice.
  • Adapting to varying levels of direction and supervision required based on state regulations and specific job settings.
  • Delivering care primarily to adult patients both pre- and post-operatively, as well as those receiving pharmaceutical treatments for various health conditions.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of a wide range of medical conditions encountered in the Med/Surg environment.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

Clinical Nurse - Medical / Surgical Unit

RN - MED/SURG

Full-Time NIGHTS

To qualify for the Registered Nurse position in the Medical / Surgical Unit, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:

Education and/or Experience
  • Associate's degree from an accredited nursing program is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program is preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or multistate licensure in a compact state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within six months of hire.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months of hire.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within six months of hire.
Pay Rate: $ /hour
