We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hospitalist Admitter to enhance our Hospitalist Division. This role is pivotal in managing patients admitted to the hospitalist service, collaborating closely with various specialists and consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the care of patients admitted to the hospitalist service, ensuring effective communication with emergency department physicians and intensivists.
  • Coordinate inpatient care and facilitate smooth transitions back to outpatient settings.
  • Engage with multidisciplinary teams, including case managers and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient-centered care.
  • Participate in clinical and research initiatives, contributing to faculty development and quality improvement projects.

Qualifications:

  • MD/DO or equivalent, with board eligibility in Internal Medicine and/or Family Medicine.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
