We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our team at Samaritas. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents and ensuring their physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, including medication administration, documentation, and therapeutic treatments
* Conduct daily rounds to observe residents and ensure their needs are being met
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
* Provide shift supervision to certified nursing assistants and support their development
* Participate in resident care conferences and contribute to the development of care plans
* Initiate timely incident investigations and ensure accurate documentation

Requirements

* Current State of Michigan RN or LPN license
* One year of experience as an RN or LPN in long-term care, with a focus on dementia care services
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
