Your Responsibilities: Conduct service and new installation commissioning tasks on fire alarm systems, access control, CCTV, intrusion alarms, and intercom solutions.
How You Will Achieve This: Oversee and assess the installation of systems to ensure they meet customer expectations and adhere to manufacturer guidelines.
Engage in field coordination and communication, system programming, commissioning, testing by Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), and training on new system setups.
Evaluate and troubleshoot equipment needing service and diagnose potential wiring issues in the field.
Provide tailored solutions and recommendations to clients for efficient and cost-effective restoration of systems.
Manage assigned service calls related to Electronic Systems, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective coordination and clear communication.
Prepare daily activity reports and be available for overtime and on-call rotations.
Some overnight travel may be required.
Interpret complex blueprints, diagrams, schematics, submittals, software/system programs, and operation/product manuals.
Physically capable of lifting and carrying equipment and tools, potentially exceeding forty (40) pounds.
Work in various environments, including climbing ladders and scaffolding up to forty (40) feet high, and navigating confined spaces such as ducts and crawl spaces.
What We Seek: A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the installation and servicing of fire alarm systems, access control, CCTV, intrusion alarms, and intercom systems.
Proven knowledge of electrical systems and electronics, with a strong aptitude for troubleshooting and repairs.
Security experience with P2000 or C-Cure 9000 is essential.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
Capable of handling equipment/tools weighing up to 40 pounds.
A high school diploma or equivalent, military experience, or an Associate degree in a technical field related to electronics or computers is required.
Familiarity with personal computers (Windows 2000, XP, Windows 7) and Microsoft Office software is necessary.
Knowledge of IT network systems is beneficial.
Proficient in using hand and power tools, as well as testing equipment such as multi-meters and oscilloscopes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
Ability to read and comprehend complex architectural, mechanical, and electrical documents, including project plans and specifications.
CCURE 9000, NICET, and DCJS certifications are required.
