Job Title: Vulnerability Researcher

About the Role:
Cipher Tech Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Vulnerability Researcher to join our team. As a Vulnerability Researcher, you will be responsible for identifying flaws in software and working independently to develop and implement solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and analyze vulnerabilities in software systems
  • Develop and implement solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and tools in vulnerability research

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Math, or Physics
  • Strong C, ASM, and Python development experience
  • Experience with dynamic and static binary analysis & fuzzing techniques
  • Experience auditing code for security vulnerabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to self-drive research tasking

Desired Skills:
  • Performing full system emulation for research and analysis
  • Understanding of network protocols
  • Experience reading and writing assembly (ARM, x86/x64)
  • Understanding of OS Internals (any major OS)

Clearance Requirements:
This position requires a U.S. Government Security Clearance. If you do not already hold a clearance, we can sponsor you for one. However, please note that this can be a multi-year process.
